Help save a cat's life!

It truly pains me to say that we are looking for a good home for our first born kitty, Tiger. He is a great cat, but he requires a little more attention than we are able to give him now that we have a baby. I think he would actually do really well in a home with kids who would play with him and give him the attention he craves. He would also do well in a home with an adult who is home all day and can provide lots of "lap" time for him.

I really feel like he is a great cat, but he is not without his faults and I want to disclose everything about him to a potential family. He still has his front claws, and when he is looking for attention he sometimes scratches things he's not supposed to. However, I regularly trim his claws so he is very accustomed to that practice. He occasionally gives little "love bites" or nips on a whim. This is pretty rare unless there is a small child poking him repeatedly or something. He has never bitten so hard to draw blood though. :-) He is an indoor cat although we have been letting him out occasionally as of late for him to burn off some of his energy. However, he doesn't come back on his own and our neighbors always have to bring him back to us. And finally, he has a sensitive stomach. We have found that if he overeats or eats too quickly he will throw up. As a result we have come up with a pretty regular eating routine for him that keeps his throw ups to about once a week.

That said, he is about 10 years old (although he has the energy of a 2 year old). He is a normal weight, he has his shots, he is fixed, and he is litter trained. We've never had a problem with him marking his territory or anything like that. He loves to lay on laps, especially if a pillow is present!

I hate, hate, hate having to give him up.... I really do! However, he is just acting out too much for us to handle right now with our new baby, and if we can't find a home for him, we will have to take him to the Humane Society. I know the Humane Society is overloaded with cats right now, which means there's a good chance he will sit there for several months and then be euthanized. So I really don't want it to come to that. Please, please, please consider adopting our kitty! Or if you know of someone looking for a cat, please pass along this info.
