After 12 hours of "cervical ripening" drugs, there has been no change to my cervix. :-( However, I am having lots of lots of contractions. Apparently my cervix is like a steel trap.
We've gone ahead and started pitocin to see if that will affect things at all. If it doesn't, then we are going to spend another night trying to "prepare my cervix" before doing another round of pitocin on Saturday. The good news is that the baby seems perfectly happy and content in there despite all the labor inducing drugs and all the contractions.
